Main responsibilities

  • Lead and manage team to achieve goals and meet performance standards
  • Develop a high performance culture, committed to quality and outstanding customer service
  • Coach staff to demonstrate good practice
  • Recruit and select competent staff with an appropriate level of scheduling knowledge and the skills to engage with staff
  • Support training, learning and development opportunities for staff
  • Managing a team that are responsible 45 rota’s per week
  • Analysis of missed shifts, pay rates etc
  • Liaising with the senior leadership team
  • Maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of scheduling
  • Ensure only carers with the correct compliance, training and competencies are rostered
  • Optimise the meeting of service user preference requests for carer
  • Improve carers satisfaction with rostering practices
