This role focuses on sourcing and placing senior executives and technical leaders within the fast-growing renewables sector. About the role

As an Executive Search Consultant in the Renewables Industry, you will be responsible for sourcing and placing senior executives, directors, and specialist professionals in companies operating within the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, and energy storage. You will play a key role in enabling these companies to drive innovation and growth by connecting them with top-tier talent.

Key responsibilities

  • Executive talent sourcing: Identify and engage senior-level candidates within the renewable energy sector for leadership and technical roles
  • Client development: Build and maintain strong relationships with companies in the renewables sector, understanding their strategic hiring needs and offering bespoke recruitment solutions
  • End-to-end executive search: Manage the full executive search process, from identifying candidates to negotiating offers and ensuring successful placements
  • Industry expertise: Keep up to date with trends, regulations, and technological developments in the renewable energy sector to provide expert advice to clients and candidates
  • Networking and headhunting: Leverage advanced research, networking, and headhunting techniques to source highly specialised and senior talent in renewable energy
  • Performance targets: Consistently achieve and exceed placement and business development targets

What we’re looking for

  • Executive search experience: Proven experience in executive search, preferably within the renewable energy or broader energy sectors
  • Understanding of the renewables sector: In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy industry, including wind, solar, hydrogen, and other clean energy technologies
  • Business development: Strong business development skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders in the renewables industry
  • Research & headhunting skills: Expertise in sourcing, headhunting, and networking to identify top talent for senior and executive-level positions
  • Negotiation & communication skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers and close high-level placements
