Our client, a leading recruitment agency in the civil engineering sector, is seeking a driven and professional Recruitment Consultant to join their White Collar Temps Civils division. This role focuses on placing skilled temporary professionals into civil engineering roles, supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across the UK.
About the Role
As a Recruitment Consultant within the White Collar Temps Civils team, you will specialise in sourcing and placing qualified candidates into temporary roles such as project managers, quantity surveyors, and site engineers. You’ll be working with clients to meet their staffing needs while providing exceptional service to candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate sourcing: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled civil engineering professionals for temporary assignments.
- Client development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with civil engineering firms, understanding their project requirements and delivering tailored staffing solutions.
- Full recruitment lifecycle: Manage the process from candidate sourcing and interviews to compliance checks and placement.
- Compliance management: Ensure all candidates meet industry standards and legal requirements.
- Performance targets: Consistently meet and exceed targets for placements and business development.
- Ongoing support: Deliver aftercare for both clients and candidates to ensure successful placements and foster long-term relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recruitment experience: Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the civil engineering or construction sectors.
- Industry knowledge: Understanding of the civil engineering industry and its recruitment challenges.
- Business development skills: Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships while delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
- Strong communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Compliance expertise: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
