Our client, a respected name in the recruitment industry, is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their White Collar Perms Build division. This role focuses on placing permanent professionals into high-impact positions within the building and construction industry, ensuring long-term success for both clients and candidates.
About the Role
You will be responsible for sourcing and placing candidates in permanent white-collar roles such as project managers, commercial managers, and contracts directors. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the most prominent names in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate sourcing: Build a network of qualified construction professionals for permanent placements.
- Client partnerships: Develop long-term relationships with building contractors and construction firms, understanding their strategic needs.
- Recruitment process management: Handle every step of the recruitment lifecycle, from job briefs to placement.
- Sector knowledge: Stay up-to-date with construction industry trends to ensure a competitive edge.
- Compliance and quality: Ensure all placements meet industry standards and regulations.
- Results-driven: Consistently achieve and exceed placement and business development targets.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recruitment expertise: Previous recruitment experience, ideally within the construction sector.
- Industry knowledge: Understanding of the building and construction market, including its recruitment challenges.
- Client-focused: Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Target-oriented: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs in a recruitment environment.
- Strong communication: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
