Our client, a well-regarded recruitment agency, is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their White Collar Temps Social Housing division. This role focuses on placing temporary professionals into key positions within social housing organisations, ensuring they meet the needs of their communities effectively.
About the Role
As a Recruitment Consultant in this division, you will be responsible for sourcing and placing temporary candidates into white-collar roles, such as housing officers, property managers, and compliance specialists. You’ll work with clients to provide tailored recruitment solutions that ensure operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate sourcing: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified social housing professionals for temporary assignments.
- Client development: Develop relationships with housing associations, councils, and property management firms, understanding their staffing needs.
- End-to-end recruitment: Manage the process from sourcing and interviewing candidates to compliance checks and placement.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure candidates meet all necessary regulatory and compliance standards.
- Targets and KPIs: Consistently meet and exceed placement and business development targets.
- Support: Provide aftercare to ensure successful placements and nurture long-term client and candidate relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recruitment experience: Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the social housing or public sector.
- Sector understanding: Knowledge of the social housing sector, its challenges, and staffing requirements.
- Client engagement: Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Compliance expertise: Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as health and safety and housing standards.
- Communication skills: Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a results-driven mindset.
