Our client is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Recruitment Consultant to join their White Collar Perms Civils team. This role involves sourcing and placing permanent professionals into high-value civil engineering roles, supporting major projects across the UK.

About the Role

In this role, you will focus on placing candidates into permanent positions, including roles such as design managers, planning engineers, and project leads. You will work closely with civil engineering firms to understand their long-term staffing requirements and provide bespoke recruitment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate sourcing: Build a network of skilled professionals for permanent roles in civil engineering.
  • Client partnerships: Establish long-term partnerships with clients, providing insight and advice on recruitment strategies.
  • Recruitment process management: Oversee the recruitment lifecycle, from job briefings to interviews and successful candidate placements.
  • Market expertise: Keep up-to-date with trends and demands within the civil engineering sector to stay ahead in candidate sourcing.
  • Compliance and standards: Ensure all placements adhere to legal and professional standards.
  • Performance-driven results: Achieve and exceed targets for client acquisition and candidate placements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Recruitment background: Previous experience in recruitment, preferably in the construction or civil engineering sectors.
  • Relationship building: A proven ability to create and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Sector knowledge: Strong understanding of the civil engineering industry and its recruitment needs.
  • Exceptional communication: Confidence in negotiating and building rapport with clients and candidates.
  • Goal-oriented: A track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets.
