Our client, a renowned recruitment agency specialising in executive search, is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their Life Sciences division. This role is focused on placing senior and executive-level professionals within the life sciences sector. About the role
As an Executive Search Consultant in Life Sciences, you will be responsible for sourcing and placing senior executives, directors, and specialised professionals within life sciences companies, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device firms. You will play a key role in identifying top-tier talent and providing tailored recruitment solutions to clients in a fast-evolving, cutting-edge industry.
Key responsibilities
- Executive talent sourcing: Identify, engage, and build relationships with senior-level candidates in the life sciences sector for high-level roles
- Client development: Build and maintain strong relationships with life sciences companies, understanding their strategic goals and executive hiring needs
- End-to-end recruitment process: Manage the entire executive search process from candidate identification and interview stages to offer negotiation and placement
- Market insight: Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and talent movements within the life sciences sector to better advise clients and candidates
- Networking and headhunting: Use advanced networking, headhunting, and research techniques to source highly specialised talent
- Performance targets: Consistently meet and exceed executive placement and business development goals
What we’re looking for
- Executive search experience: Proven experience in executive search, ideally within the life sciences sector or a similarly specialised industry
- Understanding of the life sciences sector: A deep knowledge of the life sciences industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices
- Business development: Demonstrated ability to build strong, long-term relationships with clients and provide bespoke recruitment solutions
- Research & headhunting skills: Advanced sourcing, networking, and headhunting skills, particularly in identifying senior and executive-level talent
- Negotiation & communication skills: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
