About the role
As an Executive Search Consultant in the Automation Industry, you will be responsible for sourcing and placing senior executives, directors, and technical leaders within automation-focused companies, including robotics, industrial automation, and smart manufacturing firms. You will help shape the future of automation by placing highly skilled professionals in key roles across a dynamic and innovative sector.
Key responsibilities
- Executive talent sourcing: Identify and engage with senior-level professionals within the automation sector for high-level and specialised roles
- Client development: Develop and nurture strong relationships with companies in the automation industry, understanding their strategic goals and talent needs
- End-to-end executive search: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from headhunting and candidate assessment to offer management and placement
- Industry expertise: Stay up to date with the latest trends, technological advancements, and market movements in automation to advise clients and candidates effectively
- Networking and headhunting: Utilise advanced networking, research, and headhunting techniques to source and connect with senior leaders in the automation field
- Performance targets: Consistently meet and exceed executive placement and business development goals
What we’re looking for
- Executive search experience: Proven experience in executive search, ideally within the automation or industrial technology sectors
- Understanding of the automation industry: Strong knowledge of the automation landscape, including robotics, industrial automation, and emerging technologies
- Business development: A demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and provide customised recruitment solutions
- Research & headhunting skills: Advanced sourcing, networking, and headhunting skills, particularly in identifying senior and executive-level talent in technical industries
- Negotiation & communication skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and close high-value placements
