Job Overview:

We are searching for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our cleint’s Legal Perms team in Leeds. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for placing permanent legal professionals, including Solicitors, Paralegals, Legal Executives, and Partners, into law firms and in-house legal teams. Your role will involve business development, candidate sourcing, and managing the full recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong client base within the legal sector by providing top-tier recruitment services for permanent roles
  • Source high-calibre legal professionals for roles in corporate law, commercial litigation, property law, and more
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate suitability, and guide them through the recruitment process
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the legal market, including regulatory changes, salary benchmarks, and candidate availability
  • Provide consultative advice to clients regarding hiring strategies, market trends, and salary expectations
  • Deliver against KPIs and revenue targets, ensuring continued growth of the legal recruitment desk

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the legal or professional services sectors
  • Strong knowledge of legal qualifications and roles (e.g., Solicitors, Paralegals, Partners)
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level professionals and key decision-makers
  • Strong business development acumen and an excellent track record in generating new business
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills to manage the complexities of legal recruitment
